1849 a Western Overture for Symphonic Band

This piece is like riding on a speeding train from the East Coast to California. Trying to get some of that gold! Originally composed on 2002, 1849 premiered at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, by the Wind Ensemble led by Dr. Derle Long. This recording however, is of Kennedy Verrett conducting his work.
