is the study of the relationship of humans and their environment using sound. Much of the data used in Mad Composer Lab Acoustic Sound Installations is also made available for use by scientists and other researchers interested in the phenomenon we call sound.

Operation SoundCheck is a massive effort to collect and archive sounds for research and art purposes. Also designed to foster conservation and meaningful conversations about climate change.
